McVCIS

The Multi-Court Voice Case Information System (McVCIS) provides callers with free access to limited court case information via a toll-free telephone number.  The public may call 1-866-222-8029 twenty-four (24) hours a day, three hundred sixty-five (365) days a year to obtain the most requested information about filed cases in the Middle District of Alabama- District Court.
 

Options for searching for Civil and Criminal cases with McVCIS include:

• Defendant (both individual and corporation)
• Plaintiff (both individual and corporation)
• Case number
   

When searching by case number, the application asks for the 7-digit case number, which is the 2-digit year and 5-digit case number.  Do not include the office code, which is the leading digit before the year.  If a case number has fewer than 5 digits, be sure to include leading zeros.

Examples to search for cases with McVICS:

• For case number:  3:25-cv-00625, enter 2500625
• For case number:  1:25-cv-00912, enter 2500912
