ALMD and ALND Offer Joint Free CLE via Zoom

Please join the United States District Courts for the Middle and Northern Districts of Alabama for a free Zoom CLE seminar on pro bono service opportunities for survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and/or stalking next Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 11:30 am to 1:00pm.  You will earn one hour of CLE credit for this program. 

This program is being offered pursuant to the requirements of the Pro Bono Work to Empower and Represent Act of 2018, P.L. 115-237 (POWER Act).  The panel includes experts in the field of domestic violence and criminal, domestic, and creditor rights law.  The CLE will discuss the legal effects of domestic violence and identify opportunities for pro bono representation.
