Juror Scam - Targeting Law Firms - National Issue

The Middle District of Alabama has been advised of widespread scams originating from an external source.  Federal courts throughout the nation previously reported that such scams were targeting law firms and federal practitioners and are designed to appear to be a communication from a United States District Court. We have recently learned that these scams have spread to target all members of our community. Bad actors are contacting targets by phone and email and posing as members of law enforcement. Please approach any such communications with caution and act prudently with the same as such could contain malicious attachments and/or links.
