Operational Status
The United States District Court for the Alabama Middle District is currently operating under normal conditions.
Please refer to this area in the event of an emergency for information on how the Court’s operations may be affected.
Emergency Filings
The Clerk’s office is open between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm, excluding holidays. Conventional filings may be delivered between those hours; the Court has an after-hours filing box located outside for your convenience. Be sure to ALWAYS stamp your after-hours pleadings; filing received in the drop box that are not stamped will be stamped by Court personnel when they are received the next open business day.
Electronic filing is available 24-hours to registered attorneys.
The Clerk’s office does not accept faxed or emailed pleadings.
