RE: Notice of Extension of Deadline re Public Notice for Appointment of U.S. Magistrate Judge
Due to the on-going disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, and the recent increase in the community spread of COVID-19, particularly the omicron variant, the Court finds good cause for an extension of the existing deadlines.
Accordingly, the deadline for applications is extended from January 26, 2022 to February 11, 2022. Furthermore, the deadline for the Merit Selection Panel to meet and review all applicants and recommend to the judges of the district the five (5) persons whom the Selection Panel considers best qualified is extended from March 4, 2022 to March 18, 2022.
