Juror Scam Continues

The Middle District of Alabama has received calls from several citizens this week reporting calls from bad actors posing as law enforcement. Members of our community are being told that they have missed jury or grand jury duty and are told to pay significant fines in order to avoid arrest.  Please also be cautious of “Arrest Warrants” being produced listing case numbers, bond amounts and an officer’s name. The Middle District of Alabama will never contact you by phone or any other method to threaten you with arrest or ask you for money. If you receive a call like this, hang up immediately.
