South Fulton Kipp Academy Tours Courthouse

Thursday, May 25 2017, the Alabama Middle District hosted Atlanta’s Kipp Academy (South Fulton).  The students spent time this morning with Honorable Judge Terry F. Moorer, learning about his history, and that of our court. After some questions, they watched a Pathways to the Bench video, and then they spent time asking Judge Moorer more questions about his career, and about the federal courts in general.

This is the 13th annual visit by the Kipp Academy, a program that strives to provide real-life lessons outside the classrooms, which enrich traditional learning. The ALMD is proud to enjoy such a long-standing relationship and happy to share our rich history.
