Courtroom Technology
The United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama has Digital Evidence Presentation Systems in its courtrooms. We offer complimentary training to give attorneys opportunities to see how this technology can benefit their clients and to try out the technology in a classroom atmosphere.
Training
Training is mandatory prior to initial use of the equipment and will be ongoing, as new attorneys are admitted to the Federal Court. There is no cost associated with the training.
The technology is available for any proceeding in which it would benefit the presentation of evidence. If you would like to make use of this technology, you must make arrangements with the Courtroom Deputy (CRD) a minimum of five (5) business days in advance of any court proceedings. Fill out this Technology Request Form, and return it to the CRD as specified.
