ALMD Transitions to NextGen CM/ECF on May 3, 2021

The Alabama Middle District will transition to the Next Generation Case Management/Electronic Case Files (NextGen) system on May 3, 2021. In anticipation of this upgrade, we have prepared information to assist electronic filers in our Court.

Once implemented (on May 3, 2021), electronic filers will be required to use their individual PACER log in credentials to access the Case Management/Electronic Case Files (CM/ECF) system. The e-filer will no longer toggle between two sets of credentials and logging into two systems. NextGen Courts will use a Central Sign-On feature.
