11.16.2011 -- Conference Approves Fee Increase: In September 2011, the Judicial Conference of the United    States authorized an increase in the Judiciary's electronic public access fee in response to increasing costs for maintaining and enhancing the electronic public access system. 11.04.2011 -- Attorney Admission Fee Increase effective November 11, 2011: Pursuant to the    amendment of September 2011 by the Judicial Conferenceto the District Court Miscellaneous Fee Schedule promulgated under 28 U.S.C. §1914 to increase the fee for attorney admission from $150.00 to $176.00. 05.17.2011 -- Press Release: The United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama announces that,    effective May 17, 2011, District Judge Mark E. 11.30.2010 -- NOTICE OF AMENDED LOCAL RULES - Effective December 1, 2010: The United    States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama hereby gives notice that the amended Local Civil and Criminal Rules of Procedure for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama will take effect on December 1, 2010. A copy of the amended Local Rules can be found at www.almd.uscourts.gov. The amended Local Rules effective December 1, 2010, may also be obtained at the United States Courthouse located at:

   The FBI has renewed a warning that con artists posing as federal court officials are using the threat of fines to obtain credit card numbers and other confidential data. In one scam that keeps popping up around the country, thieves pose as court employees and gain personal financial information from victims over the phone. 05.06.2008 -- CM/ECF v.3.2 - ELECTRONIC AVAILABILITY OF TRANSCRIPTS
   On May 6, 2008, the Middle District of Alabama US District Court will be upgrading the electronic case files system to CM/ECF v3.2, which makes electronic transcripts filed on or after May 7, 2008, available remotely. 04.10.2008 -- CM/ECF v.3.1
