The FBI has renewed a warning that con artists posing as federal court officials are using the threat of fines to obtain credit card numbers and other confidential data.
In one scam that keeps popping up around the country, thieves pose as court employees and gain personal financial information from victims over the phone.

01.22.2009 -- Attorney Renewal Fees for Attorneys Admitted during 2003
For attorneys Admitted to Practice with this Court, A Renewal Fee is due Once every Five Years.
Attorneys who were generally admitted during calendar year 2003 are due to pay a renewal fee by March 1, 2009. Forms are available here. New Attorney Admission Fees and Attorney Renewal Fees were effective January 1, 2008

05.06.2008 -- CM/ECF v.3.2 - ELECTRONIC AVAILABILITY OF TRANSCRIPTS
On May 6, 2008, the Middle District of Alabama US District Court will be upgrading the electronic case files system to CM/ECF v3.2, which makes electronic transcripts filed on or after May 7, 2008, available remotely.
