Former Alabama Attorney General Bill Baxley's Oral History

During the week of March 7, 2016, Former Alabama Attorney General Bill Baxley allowed the Middle District of Alabama to chronicle his years as Alabama's Attorney General. Huntsville Attorney George Royer moderated the multi-day sessions with Baxley in Baxley's Birmingham office and in the Frank M. Johnson Courthouse in Montgomery.

During the session in Montgomery, Chief Judge Keith Watkins and Judge Myron Thompson arranged for an afternoon session with Chief Judge Ed Carnes of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and George Beck, United States Attorney for the Middle District of Alabama. Judge Carnes, Judge Thompson and Mr. Beck served on the staff of Mr. Baxley during his tenure as Alabama Attorney General.
